first and foremost, i would like to say hello to the people who are still reading this not-worth-the-time blog of mine,
the taggers, who are also my coolest to-email friends (kite macam penpals pon ader ehkk. hee hee.)...
raina, who's silently lurking in the shadows...
and de metamorphosis, who thinks my place is cool enough to advertise in. real nice of you to assume i have that many hits. =)
we arrived at the scene at around 6.30pm, but the crowd has already started Q-ing. (thanks ah atok ehk lambat abes kelas.............
..................
........
hahha kay i just cant resist that to make you guilty XD )
So we rushed to the ladies room to 'unload' our stuffs and rushed back to the queue, which the crews only started to let in at 7pm.
we're going in already~

hey! i saw the ting tings big big poster there! soooo....
ka-ching! hee. atok refused to take part also though. partly cause there's a bunch of people down the stairs Q-ing to get in, and we were gonna be the 30-seconds of fame act if we started to take2 picture like a bunch of tourists. =)
..... omigod katie white so hottt..

the stage while there's still light. i was actually kinda excited for the sun to set to see the stage lights and settings at night. i was like a bacen jakon kid then. sigh.
and the party started....
first act - Force Vomit
a bunch of malay guys trying to rock. it was kinda awesome for the first two songs, mainly cause people were already feeling the mood to party, but it got boring after that. gosh i had forgotten how many songs they had belted out. it was so0o dragging, i tell you.
then people started being rude.
some chanted for the ting tings.
some told them to fuck off.
but the funniest, i think, was this one guy who, while the Force Vomit singer was going to introduce their next song, he shouted "DONT CALL ME STACY!"
... okay it wasn't that funny now, but people started laughing then. and i think the singer was a bit taken aback. sigh too bad lah you guys were the opening act of one of the greatest duo/band ever kannn..
i think they performed like for half an hour?
yes, 30 mins aren't that long, but while waiting for the Ting Tings, it is. =P

second act: Wiley, and a bunch of other dudes.
this was when i got pissed off....... a lot.
i, for one, do not know so much about this wiley guy. all i know he's from british, and his 'cash in the pocket' song is quite awesome.
but apparently, this guy is quite famous for our white friends. and mark my words, our white friends are pros when it comes to partying in concerts.
they got so0o0 wild that when wiley came out, they started pushing their way to the front, and we, in the front were not a big fan of pushing, especially after we had came so early to get this awesome view of the stage.
so they were a lot of pushing-backs, profanities flying...... but of course that all came from our side.
them? they like heck care only. not even giving us a second look.
pissed me off damn bad. especially with atok there. for a moment, i felt guilty for bringing her and subjecting her to that kinda roughness.
then they finally arrived next to us cause our stupid ex-neighbours caved in and gave them way by moving to the back. stupid of them, really.
and they tried to push me back too, as in, directly pushing me. not the second-hand push that i had felt, because the ex-neighbours were too weak to retaliate.
hah that totally hit my nerves seh. i nudged the person who tried to push me away real hard on her shoulders and pushed my way a bit to her front, and i was very satisfied that i won, cause she moved to the back and left me alone.
but now it's one of her girl friends' turn. she was jumping like mad and she kept hitting me when she landed near my area. so when she came any closer, i poked her, and pushed her away.
poked her and pushed her away.
poked her and pushed her away.
all that for nothing... not even a look. she's that thick-skinned, man~
do you know how glad i was when this bunch moved to the left side of the stage to disturb the people there? gah talking about this has gotten me all mad again. i cannot even enjoy the wiley show, AT ALL! i was so focus-ed on trying to keep them away from me and atok that i totally forgot to just enjoy the moment.
damn those bastards.

and damn these lucky asses who got the front row - full ting tings view, with zero disturbances from those bastards.
and at exactly 9.20pm, the Ting Tings came out (of the closet)! like finally siaaa..
actually, by this, i was already drained. but the moment Katie White came out, there's like this invisible force that fully-charged me and got me all excited like i was at 6.30pm when we first arrived.

omigod i saw Katie White up close! she was such a joy to watch sehhh...
she was like an Energizer Bunny.
jumping around. dancing like crazy.
she even dropped the microphone stand when she took the microphone off to run around the stage.
omigod Katie White is just so awesome. awesome. and totally awesome.
did i even mention awesome?
she was hot too! and so0o white! i cant believe how white she is. she totally lives up to her name, doesnt she? hee hee.
i got Katie White fever until............ hey! i still think i have it now!
Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White Katie White
gee mul.
only after the show was over did atok and me realized that we had fully exhausted our legs from the 3 hours of standing, jumping, dancing, grooving, gyrating....... hey wait, no gyrating. no no. hee.
i swear my leg was soooo numb that i had to sit down on the sidewalk, waiting for the traffic light to turn green to cross to the mrt station.
not only that, we were dehydrated but still strangely high from the concert.
so we grabbed some drinks from the 7-11 and sat down for a while talking about how we enjoyed the show.
omigod i was still high from KatieWhite-ness. and atok commented something about Jules' hotness.. but really, who cares.. XD
it was a really really awesome night. the next time they're coming down, i'm soooo gonna be there again to see them.

no matter how tired and sweaty, and how stinky we were at the end of the day, thanks to being in very close contact with other sweaty people in the audience.....
